Andrea Miller is a talented jazz and soul singer from Oregon, U.S.A., currently residing in Los Angeles, California. Known for her soulful, sensual, hypnotic, and endearing voice, she has performed at various venues worldwide and received critical acclaim from audiences and artists alike.

Miller opened for the legendary Al Jarreau at many concerts before his passing, including the Newport Beach Jazz Festival in California, where she received a standing ovation and kind praise from Jarreau and his band. She was also set to tour with him and open for him in Europe before his passing.

In 2018, Andrea headlined the Newport Beach Jazz Party Series and the Jazz De Polanco Festival in Mexico City. A year later, she headlined Jazz at LACMA in Los Angeles. In 2020, she became one of five finalists in the Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition. Influenced by Nancy Wilson, Sarah Vaughan, and Stevie Wonder, Andrea currently works in the international jazz and soul scene.

In 2020, she headlined the Bemol 5 Jazz Club in Lyon, France. The following year, she released her fifth album, “Time to Stay” with San Gabriel 7. A member of SAG / AFTRA and ASCAP, Andrea’s performances have earned critical acclaim at venues such as The Paris Hotel in Las Vegas, Brooklyn Academy of Music, Baked Potato, Spaghettini, Vibrato, Catalina Bar & Grill, and others. She has also worked as a session singer on Disney/Pixar, Paramount Pictures, N.B.C., and Warner Brothers recordings.

In November 2022, world-renowned Princess Cruise Lines selected Andrea Miller as the first “Jazz Artist in Residence” aboard Sky Princess in England. In early 2022, she headlined the Punta Mita Jazz Festival, the Texas Jazz Festival, and the San Jose Jazz Weekend in Cabo San Lucas. Miller previously headlined the Jazz De Polanco Festival in Mexico City, the Bemol 5 Jazz Club in Lyon, France, Jazz at LACMA in Los Angeles, the Newport Beach Jazz Party Series, the Utah Arts Festival, the Salt Lake City Jazz Festival, and the Newport Beach Summer Jazz Series with the Tom Kubis Big Band. In 2023, she performed at the Polanco Jazz Festival in Mexico City and at the Blue Note Hawaii.

Miller’s performances have been critically acclaimed at venues such as the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas, Brooklyn Academy of Music, Pasadena Jazz Institute, Baked Potato, Spaghettini, Catalina Jazz Club, Vibrato, and “Jazz on the Rocks”, Cabo San Lucas. She was honored to work with David Foster, Quincy Jones, and Alan & Marilyn Bergman when recording a vocal demo for Celine Dion’s “I Knew I Loved You”.

Initially trained in opera at a young age, Andrea won first place in the soprano category of the Oregon State Vocal Competition when she was 14. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from U.S.C. Her other albums are “Maybe Today”, “II By II”, “Andrea Miller with the Salt Lake City Jazz Orchestra”, “Soulful Dream”, “Imagine – E.P.”, “Fly Like an Eagle – E.P.” and “Andrea – E.P.”.

As Al Jarreau said, “As my countdown to the stage got smaller and smaller, I began to hear wonderful music coming from the stage, floating through my dressing room window. Our opening act was a brilliant young singer named Andrea Miller. The whole band was impressed with her song, selection, bandmates, arrangements, and jazz sensibility. I enjoyed listening to what little I heard, and the band appreciated her talent even more.”
